OUR TEAM

SoFarm was established in 2019, when the two founders, Denisa Hladovcová and Martin Ducháček, met and found out that they have a common goal - to give their energy to the development of social agriculture in the Czech Republic.

People at SoFarm believe that social farming is invaluable for the landscape and for all of us, and that it deserves intense support. Through its activities (community creation, services for farmers, advocacy of the topic), SoFarm wants to contribute to the sustainable development of social farms.

Martin Ducháček,

Founder, Spiritual Father of the Project

Martin graduated from Matfyz at the UK, went through the RSJ group, the Tilia Impact Ventures team and now focuses on activities in the family trust. Martin supports projects such as Food Bank, Bezobal, A Really Healthy School or Cooks without Home. He has invested a lot in the restoration of agricultural land, supports science through the Neuron Foundation, and also helped to restore the Czech branch of Ashoka as a member of the Ashoka Support Network. He dedicates all his free time to his family.

Denisa Hladovcová,

Founder, Soul of the Project

Denisa comes from an agro-scientific-medical family with roots in the Vysočina region and in Prague, and naturally continues in the footsteps of her ancestors. She studied biology and parasitology at Charles University, then worked at the Academy of Sciences, devoted herself to environmental education in kindergartens and led preparatory courses for admission to medicine at Charles University. She is attracted by the themes of healthy food, soil and nature conservation. She basically moves around Prague on a scooter, in her free time she does handstands, dances and takes a deep breath in the nature.

Tomáš Fliegl,

Expert on Finances

A graduate journalist who loves order not only in finance. For years, he gained experience in leading positions in the media and in the IT segment. He was brought to SoFarm, where he is the CFO, by long-term cooperation with Martin Ducháček and the social impact of the project. Tomas enjoys his free time wiht his family and he likes to play golf.

David Kovalsky,

co-founder

David has over 15 years in IT and investment.

In 2010, he co-founded a company that was the first to develop and deploy a mobile trading platform in the financial sector. He believes in a more connected world where impact organizations learn to use modern tools from the business world. Companies then take over thinking about the impact chain of their own business.

He has been with SoFarm since the very beginning.
